Abhishek Bachchan Blushes at the Thought of Having a Second Child with Aishwarya Rai

Abhishek Bachchan grew shy when teased about having a second child with Aishwarya Rai. The couple, parents to 13-year-old Aaradhya Bachchan, faced the light-hearted banter during Abhishek's recent appearance on Riteish Deshmukh’s show, Case Toh Banta Hai, which was re-released recently.

Riteish jokingly pointed out, “Amitabh ji, Aishwarya, Aaradhya, and you, Abhishek—all start with the letter ‘A’. So what have Jaya aunty and Shweta done?” This left Abhishek laughing, to which he replied, “You’ll have to ask them. It seems to have become a tradition in our family—Abhishek, Aaradhya…”

Riteish then playfully asked, “What about after Aaradhya?” Abhishek responded, “Not right now; we’ll see with the next generation.” Riteish quipped, “Who waits that long? Just like Riteish, Riaan, and Rahyl.” Abhishek blushed at the suggestion of a second child and responded, “Consider the age, Riteish. I am older than you.” Riteish then humorously touched Abhishek’s feet, eliciting laughter from everyone.

This re-release follows Aishwarya and Abhishek's public appearance together at a wedding reception, which seemingly addressed the ongoing divorce rumours. Speculation about their separation has been circulating for months, causing concern among the couple's fans. Recently, Amitabh Bachchan indirectly addressed these rumours in a blog post, emphasising the importance of privacy and stating, “Speculations are speculations… they are unverified untruths.”

Fans of Aishwarya and Abhishek received reassurance regarding their relationship during Aaradhya’s 13th birthday celebrations. Initial photos suggested Abhishek wasn’t present at the event, but a later video showed him joyfully participating in the festivities with Aishwarya and Aaradhya.

Aishwarya and Abhishek, who married in April 2007, are one of Bollywood’s most beloved couples and welcomed their daughter Aaradhya in November 2011.
